It is always a venture to face the attacks of wild shark. During the past four years, dozens of attacks have been recorded; shark alerts have closed beaches 187 times. How to overcome this menace has become an ignited issue. A shark expert recommended solutions including electronic barriers, sonar detection systems and a swift reaction unit to examine all sightings or a pick.
As summer is drawing near, South Africa’s beaches are thronged with tourists and hence are making the problem more vulnerable. Yesterday a meeting took place at the Cape’s Muizenberg beach which was attended by business owners, city authorities and aquaculture users to reach the consensus. If you are assuming to swim with the waves be aware it might become impossible for you to escape the sharks’ jaws.
