Jericoacoara beach in Brazil, is an isolated lovely location for those who generally avoid overcrowded beaches. Just 15 years back, there was no access by roads and no electricity, the area was hardly in contact with the modern civilization.
This is perhaps the most vibrant feature that helped the beach to preserve its natural charm and make it so special. The beach goers got aware of its beauty when it was chosen as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world by North-American newspaper, in 1994.
Since then, it is consistently clinching the title among the top ten beaches. There are numerous reasons to explore this beach. The place is full of mesmerizing sceneries, altogether in a very beautiful and harmonic combination.
It is said about the Jericoacoara that here you feel the beauty along with feeding your eyes on it. The wide seashore surrounded by sand dunes, palm trees and warm blue water compels every visitor to mark Jericoacoara forever in his memories. There are numerous rock sites and the jeri (as it is known to the locals) has gained fame for sunrises and sunsets.
